You find your answers within yourself. The tree remembers the axe forgets.

Sometimes that means forgiving and moving on

Sometimes being mad about it is all you got

But you are the only person who can definitively change your outlook and your future.

Very wise words Elijah!

Love this part "The tree remembers the axe forgets." so true.

And if the axe forgets, what answers are we expecting from it?

Better to look inside and find how to move on.

Definitely not my saying but it's a common one within the healing community..

Why am I reading words that sliced my heart with sorrow and beauty…

Tell me why!

Oh no... now I got that song stuck again... 😭😂

TAO is ancient Asian wisdom about how to live your life.

There is a Substack which translates the Tenets of Tao (I will look it up and get back to you).

Carlos M.'s avatar

Oh, I think I've heard of that before. For a moment I thought TAO all caps was an acronym for something else 😅

Thanks for looking it up for me! 😊

You're so welcome. Happy to connect.

Love this. I find solace in myself. I am the answer.

I become present for what is around me and divert the passion of my attention to something or someone else. I accept my pain and give it space. I write about it as you have, cry and scream and pace and wear myself out. Then I accept what is.

Carlos M.'s avatar

I think that's the best way to live with our pain. Not rejecting it, but finding a way to accept it and give its own space. Then make more space for other things.

Thank you for your lovely comment Linda. 😊🙂‍↕️

I just went through this. It is very fresh with me. My acceptance of what is included truly accepting someone on their own terms. TAO gets me through this.

TAO? What's that?

Got it, I'll check it out.

I appreciate this. Just looking at it quick I see I'm going to want to learn more about it. I absolutely love the philosophy of the Ying and Yang.

Thank you for sharing Linda, you're too kind. 😊

I write some of my poetry under the guise of MY YIN YANG DRAGONS. You can find them on my Substack.

I have no paywall, just catharsis.
